Batting Cages

The Siena Batting Cages were completed in the Marcelle Athletic Complex renovations in early 2017 and are exclusive spaces for the Siena Baseball and Softball programs.

The cages were a part of Phase 1B, with construction taking place during the 2016 fall and winter months. The phase featured a relocation and enrichment of the indoor baseball and softball hitting cages as well as the facilities storage area located on the south end of the MAC. The MAC opened in 1992 and is named in honor of former Siena University Board of Trustees member Alphonso "Doc" Marcelle '49.
