The Athletic Communications Office acts as the gatekeeper for the athletic department's media relations efforts. The department coordinates all media requests for interviews, photographs and social appearances. In addition, the office makes every attempt to contact the media in the immediate locale of each of its student athletes in an attempt to keep each player's hometown well informed of all athletic happenings at Siena. The office is responsible for the compilation and distribution of all statistics and records for each of Siena's 21 varsity sports.
Interviews
- All interviews must be set up by a member of the Athletics Communications Office, preferably through the specific sport's media contact. This includes requests from newspapers and all other media outlets, including on-campus entities and student requests.
Media Credentials
- Media Credentials are required to cover Siena Men's & Women's Basketball events. For credentials to cover Siena University Athletics, please contact the appropriate media relations contact.
- Requests for to cover ANY Siena Athletics home event should be emailed to the appropriate communications representative at least 48 hours prior to the requested event.
- Siena Athletics reserves the right to refuse any credential request deemed not to be in the best interest of the University.

Branding/Style Guide
- The Siena Univeresity licensing program was developed to promote, protect, and control the proper usage of the Siena University brand. The University manages the presentation of the brand which includes all use of trademarks, service marks, logos, insignias, seals, symbols, or slogans that are associated with or referring to Siena University. The University requires all who use these marks to obtain the approval from Siena University before producing any products that utilize the Siena University brand.

- All branding/licensing and any designs, marks, or other digital or physical creations involving the official Siena Athletics branding must be done in accordance with the Siena Athletics Style Guide.
Social Media
- Each Siena University Athletics program, as well as the department as a whole, maintains an official Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram account, which is run by the athletic communications department, in conjunction with the teams themselves. For any questions regarding Siena's social media accounts or practices, please contact the appropriate media relations contact.
Parking
- Media attending competitions or practices on Siena's campus are encouraged to park in lot "U", off of Turchi Road next to Hickey Field and behind the Rugby Field. Parking may also be attained in lot "W", located just outside the Marcelle Athletic Complex. Additional parking may be available in the lot closest to Connors Park.
- Parking passes for Siena Men's Basketball games or other Siena Athletics events at MVP Arena will be distributed to credentialed Siena media members on an "as needed" basis.
