Jersey City, N.J. - The Siena women's soccer team defeated the St. Peter's Peahens 3-0 in MAAC play at Jaroshack Field.

The Saints dominated the game from the opening minute, outshooting St. Peter's 26-2 in the contest. The Saints struck quickly in the first half, as Erin Hutnick (Herndon, Va./Paul VI) knocked in a rebound just over a minute into the contest. Siena tri-captain Jen Mischke (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) added to the Saints' lead early in the second half on an unassisted goal that put the Saints up 2-0. Freshman Michaelyn Shepard (Gloversvill, N.Y./Gloversville) tacked on Siena's third goal of the game in the 72nd minute.

Siena goalie Lisa Miceli (East Islip, N.Y./East Islip) made one save in goal, while facing only two shots by the Peahens.

The Saints will next be in action at St. John's on September 26 at 7:30 p.m.
