PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Bridgette Palin and Jillian Blanchard tied for fifth-place by firing scores of 161 to lead Siena to a seventh-place finish out of 17 teams at the Rutgers Invitational completed Saturday.

Palin (Rehobath, Mass./Dighton-Rehonbath) and Blanchard (N. Dartmouth, Mass./Dartmouth) finished fifth out of 86 golfers at the tournament. Stephanie Reeves (Clifton Park, N.Y./Burnt Hills) played well also, shooting a 166 to tie for 17th.

As a team, Siena finished with a score of 679. Georgetown won the team title by shooting 659.

Siena closes the fall season at the Georgetown Invitational next weekend.
