Kristin Anderson registered 11 kills and the Stags out-blocked Siena 17-4 to earn a 3-0 win in MAAC volleyball action at the Alumni Recreation Center Saturday afternoon. Siena's Lauren Weber (Sayville, N.Y.) recorded a game-high 14 kills and 15 digs in a losing effort.

Fairfield broke open the first game mid-way through the action and coasted to a 30-19 victory. The Stags dominated play in the second game earning a 30-21 victory and rallied from several deficits to take the decisive third game 30-24.

In addition to Weber's efforts, senior Jennifer Corkum contributed 11 kills and one block. Setter Kerrie McHugh had a game-high 31 assists for the Saints.

Casey Machon collected seven kills and 15 digs and five blocks for Fairfield.

The Saints close out the home portion of their schedule with a 1p.m. match against Iona tomorrow afternoon. The three members of the Siena senior class will be honored in a senior day ceremony before the match.
