PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Ed Marynowitz went 17-of-32 for 210 yards and two touchdowns to lead La Salle to a 28-21 win over Siena on Saturday.

La Salle (1-3) and Siena were tied 7-7 when Marynowitz hit Melvin Bryant with a 30-yard TD pass with 4:53 left in the second quarter. Following a Siena fumble, Marynowitz and Greg Vaccaro teamed on a 34-yard TD pass to give the Explorers a 21-7 halftime lead.

La Salle extended its lead to 28-7 with 9:23 left in the third quarter on Jason Stevenson's 11-yard TD run.

Siena (1-3) battled back, with Pat Heenan's 1-yard run making it 28-14 with 2:05 left in the third period. Anthony Marasco's 1-yard TD run cut La Salle's lead to seven points early in the fourth quarter.

Ronald Carthon dropped Siena quarterback Chris Karolus for a 20-yard loss deep in Siena territory late in the game to clinch the victory for La Salle.

Ken Triboletti rushed for 88 yards and one touchdown on 10 carries for La Salle. Pat Heenan ran for 81 yards and two touchdowns for Siena.
