The Siena College women's golf team captured third at the Hartford Invitational at Wampanoag Country Club in West Hartford, Conn. The tournament that was scheduled to span two days, from Monday, April 12 through Tuesday, April 13, was cut short when rain cancelled the final round today. Results from the first round stood as final.

The Saints shot a day one total of 344, six strokes behind second-place and fellow MAAC conference rival Fairfield University. Boston College topped the 12-team field with a 316. Boston University (349) and Hofstra University (350) rounded out the top-5.

Bridgette Palin led the Saints, finishing in a tie for 13th place (84), individually. Megan Angis also landed in the tournament's top-15 with an 85.

The Saints will next head to Orlando, Fla. for the MAAC Tournament scheduled to take place on April 22-25.
