The Siena volleyball completed play in the Syracuse Orange Classic this afternoon without a victory. Siena fell to Syracuse and Cleveland State 3-0.

Christie Gustafson had 17 kills in the two matches to pace Siena. Freshman Nadiege Honore added 16.

Syracuse coasted to 30-23 and 30-20 wins in the first two games, before holding off a fierce Siena rally 31-29 in the decisive third game. Cheryl Cobbina led all players with 12 kills for the Orange.

In the nightcap, Cleveland State eased to a straight-set victory with triumphs of 30-25, 30-14 and 30-17. Honore had eight kills to lead Siena. Jamee Bouyer had a game-high 14 kills for the Vikings.

the Saints return to action next weekend in the Colgate Invitational.
