PISCATAWAY, N.J.--The Siena women's golf team took off Thursday to play in the 2005 Rutgers Women's Golf Invitational, but play has been cancelled due to heavy, flooding rains throughout New Jersey. Teams were set to take the Rutgers Course on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 14 and 15. Rutgers head coach, head coach Maura Waters announced that the tournament will be rescheduled during the spring season.

This marks the second invitational of the season that was cancelled due to inclement weather; last week the team was rained out at the Lehigh Invitational.

The Siena women will be back in action in the spring.
