Fordham Shuts Down Siena Volleyball 3-0

Fordham's Jamee Stimson recorded a match-high 11 kills to go with four service aces and four digs, while Cassie Sharp had nine kills and a career-high five service aces, as the Fordham Rams defeated the Siena Saints in three games by scores of 30-12, 30-13, and 32-30.

The win extends the Rams' win streak to five games, improving their record to 6-2 on the year, while Siena falls to 1-3.

The Rams hit .297 as a team in the match, while holding Siena to a -.013 hitting percentage. Fordham also had the big advantage in the service game, as they piled up 16 service aces, just two shy of the team record for a three-game match.

Besides Stimson and Sharp, Marija Markovic registered a .467 hitting percentage to go with nine kills, six blocks, and two service aces, while Tasha Johnston had a .455 hitting percentage with seven kills, eight digs, and three service aces. Stephanie Frost also added a match-high 10 digs.

Siena was led by Christie Gustafson, who had 10 kills and nine digs.

The Saints look to get back in the win column Tuesday at Providence.
