LEWISBURG, Pa. - Junior Melissa Agostinelli (Rochester, N.Y./Aquinas) moved up the leader board 15 spots, finishing the annual Bucknell Fall Classic tied for eighth place, while the Siena Saints maintained Saturday's third-place standing with a combined two-day score of 641. Albany native, Teri Schlang of Bucknell shot a five-over par 75, finishing the tournament in first place with a score of 151.
Capturing the tournament championship was host, Bucknell University, who finished with a combined score of 632, while Lehigh University placed second with a score of 633. Completing the top-five finishing teams was Youngstown State and Rutgers University, who both finished tied for fourth.
Leading the charge for Siena was senior Laura Woolgar (Pearl River, N.Y./Pearl River), who tied for fourth place with a 156, followed by Agostinelli, who shot a 76, placing tied for eighth. Rounding out the remaining Saints' roster was Megan Angis (Saco, ME/Thornton Academy) and Bridget Erwin (Syracuse, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy), who both tied for 16th place with a 163, followed by freshman Bridget Carr who tied for 41st place with a 175.
The Saints next travel to Telford, Pa. on Sunday for the two-day Lehigh Invitational.
