LEWISBURG, Pa. - Siena's Laura Woolgar (Pearl River, N.Y./Pearl River) shot a six-over-par 76, finishing the first round of the 2006 Bucknell Fall Classic tied for first place with Rutgers' Lauren Braswell. As a whole, the Saints finished the two-day event in third place, five strokes behind second place Lehigh University. Host, Bucknell University is currently in first place with a score of 316.
Rounding out the remaining top-five finishing teams is Rutgers University in fourth place with a score of 329, followed by Youngstown State in fifth.
Senior Megan Angis (Saco, ME/Thornton Academy) and junior Bridget Erwin (Syracuse, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) both tied for 16th place, after firing an 82, while Melissa Agostinelli (Rochester, N.Y./Aquinas) tied for 23rd with a score of 83. Rounding out the remaining member of the Saints' constituency was freshman Bridget Carr, who finished tied for 35th with a score of 86.
The 2006 Bucknell Invitational will conclude Sunday, October 1.
