Final Stats

Loudonville, N.Y. - The Saints dropped the regular-season finale 1-0 in overtime at Marist this evening. Siena took the Red Foxes to the 96th minute before senior Lauren Dziedzic tapped the game winner past goaltender Patti Carroll (Middle Grove, N.Y./Galway). The Saints outshot Marist 13-10 on the night. Siena enters the MAAC tournament 5-3-1 in league play.

Both teams went scoreless through regulation. In the first overtime session, the Red Foxes capitalized on an opportunity when Carroll misplayed a ball inside the six-yard box. Dziedzic gained control and placed one in the left side of the net. Carroll tallied four saves between the pipes on the night. Sophomore Caitlin Nazarechuk registered the win for the Red Foxes posting two saves.

The Saints finish the regular-season 8-7-2, while Marist wraps up the year 5-12-1 overall and 3-5-1 in the MAAC.
