Both teams combined for just five fouls and one free throw in the first 20 minutes of action.
The Saints sparked a 12-3 run early in the second half cutting the Patriots lead to five at the 14:04 mark on a Menty layup. George Mason retaliated with a 12-1 scoring spree of their own which was capped off by a Tracy Ann Holness 3-pointer with 9:18 remaining in regulation. The Patriots pulled away with their second win of the season. Mason shot 58.3% from beyond the arc on the afternoon. The Patriots improve to 2-2 on the year.
