Tampa, Fl-- On the final day, Siena College women's golf shot 318, finishing with a two-round total of 638. The Saints slipped into a tie for 8th place with University of Northern Iowa and Florida Institute of Technology in the final team standings at the Snowbird Invitational played at Pebblecreek Country Club.
Junior Laura Woolgar shot a 77 in the final round of play, finishing in a tie for 11th place at 154. Woolgar finished two shots back of a tie for 4th place, ending a streak of two consecutive top 10 finishes.
Sophomores Bridget Erwin carded a 76 to maintain a tie for 17th place with a two-round total of 157 and Melissa Agostinelli fired an 83 to finish with a score of 162 and tie for 37th place. Senior Jillian Blanchard shot an 82 to finish three shots behind Agostinelli in 51st place at 165.
Megan Angis carded a 91 during the final round of play to tie for 85th at 183. Rachel Scalzo and Samantha Rossi rounded out the scoring for the Saints.
Bradley University won the team title with a two-round score of 609. Gonzaga was 16 shots back in second place at 625, while Weber State University was third at 926. Eastern Kentucky finished fourth at 628 and Murray State placed fifth with 629 while tournament-host Northern Illinois placed 12th at 654. Siena returns to tournament play March 25-26 at William and Mary Invitational in Williamsburg, Va.
