Leesburg, VA-- The Siena women's golf team posted a two-round total of 695, following a 344 today, to finish in 13th place at the 2006 Hoya Women's Invitational at the Raspberry Falls Golf and Hunt Club in Leesburg, Va.

Host Georgetown University earned the team championship, finishing with a two-day total of 612. Yale (629), Princeton (632), Columbia (637) Gonzaga (644) round out the top-five first round team scores.

The top finisher for Siena was junior Bridget Erwin who posted an 83; Erwin was tied for 24th following the opening round, but fell to a tie for 37th after the final round. Georgetown's Christy Larrimore nabbed individual honors finished 10 shots ahead of the field of 84 golfers.

Senior Jillian Blanchard and sophomore Melissa Agostinelli finished with identical scores (169) for a two day total. Rounding out the Saints scoring was fellow teammate Samantha Rossi, who surpassed her opening round score carding a 90 in the final round to finish 75th. Junior Laura Woolgar with drew from competition due to injury.

Siena will return to action on April 10-11, when it competes in the Hartford Invitational.
