With 12:11 remaining in the contest, Dooley drove to the hoop and dished it Menty who laid one in giving Siena their first lead of the second half (37-35). Menty finished with 17 points on the afternoon.

The Saints offensive production slowed down midway through the second half as they went on a field goal drought for a four minute span beginning with 12:11 on the clock. With seven seconds on the clock, senior co-captain Katelyn Dooley back rimmed a 3-point attempt and Saint Peter's would go on to win 51-49 on their home floor.
