Freshman Aubrey Bobo finished off a breakthrough weekend with 18 kills, helping Siena to its 14th straight win at MAAC foe Manhattan Sunday afternoon. Burgandy McCurty, Nadiege Honore and Kelly Hummel each had double figure kills for Siena. The Saints improved to 10-0 in the MAAC with the 3-0 (30-23, 30-28, 30-24) victory.
Honore and setter April London each collected double-doubles. Honore had 13 digs to go along with her 11 assists and three block assists. London led all players with 41 assists and added 14 digs. Libero Kathi Kobayashi had 15 digs.
The Saints out-dug Manhattan 66-46 and out-hit the Jaspers .372 to .194. Siena hit .400 in the first game and .425 in the third in a pair of comfortable wins. The Jaspers fought hard before succumbing 30-28 in game two.
Andrea Reiff and Jackie Kapovich each had double-figure kills for Manhattan.
Siena has not lost a match since August 31. The Saints are all alone in first place in the league with a 10-0 mark. The team will look to extend its streak with the first of three home matches Friday night in the ARC at 6 p.m. against Rider.
