Cheryl Cobbina had 16 kills in just 27 attacks to power the Orange past visiting Siena 3-0 (30-28, 30-21 and 30-26) Tuesday night at the Carrier Dome. MAAC Offensive Player of the Week Aubrey Bobo led the Saints with 16 kills in just 27 attacks.

Syracuse snuck past Siena 30-28 in the first game, positing a .429-.265 advantage in hitting percentage. In the second game, the Orange coasted to a 30-21 win despit a .565 hitting percentage for the Saints. Syracuse took a competitive third game 30-26.

It was the third straight non-conference loss for Siena which fell to 20-7 on the season. Syracuse improved to 19-12 with the win.

Burgandy McCurty killed 10 of her 15 attacks with just one error for the Saints. Setter April London had 35 assists.

Katie MacTavish had 12 kills and five digs for Syracuse.

The Saints close out the regular season this weekend with a road match at Iona Saturday and a home match with Marist on Sunday. If they win both, they will earn the number one seed in the upcoming MAAC Championships - November 18 and 19 at Fairfield.
