Final Stats
Senior Nadiege Honore had 24 kills and 14 digs to lead Siena past Loyola 3-0 (30-27, 30-23 and 36-34) Saturday afternoon in Baltimore. The Saints improve their MAAC record to 3-0 and own an 8-3 overall record thanks to their seventh straight win.
Honore starred in all facets of the game, registering four service aces and a .327 attack percentage. Sophomore Burgandy McCurty added 14 kills, five blocks and a .400 attack percentage.
Senior Elizabeth Akin returned from injury to post five kills in 11 attacks in extended playing time. Setter April London inched closer to the school's all-time assists mark with 44 assists. She also contributed 14 digs.
Karlee Woodward led Loyola with 19 kills and the much-improved Greyhounds out-dug the Saints 68-60. Loyola pressed Siena to the limit in the decisive third game, before succumbing 36-34.
Siena plays at Rider Sunday at 2 p.m.
