Final Stats
Aubrey Bobo had 22 kills and posted a .435 attack percentage in Siena's 3-1 win over Bucknell late Saturday. The win capped off a perfect weekend for the Saints who defeated Montreal Friday and host Cornell earlier in the day.
Senior captain Nadiege Honore was named MVP of the weekend Tournament. Bobo landed on the All-Tournament team.
In their first match of the day, Corenell jumped out to an early lead with a 30-23 win in game one. Siena answered with 30-25, 30-25 and 30-27 wins in the next three games.
Nadiege Honore led four Saints in double figure kills with 19 against the Big Red. Burgandy McCurty had 17. Setter April London had 57 assists and killed all six of her attacks in the win.
In the Bucknell match, the Saints again dropped game one before rallying for three straight victories. In addition to Bobo's 22 kills, Honore collected 17 and McCurty added 13. London had 52 assists and libero Kathi Kobayashi tallied a team-best 11 digs.
Siena has won five straight matches after beginning the year 1-3. The defending MAAC Champions begin conference play at home against Fairfield Saturday.
