Final Round Results 
The Siena women's golf team mounted an impressive rally to improve their final standing to ninth overall at the Rutgers Invitational, completed this afternoon at the Rutgers University Golf Course in Piscataway, N.J. Katelynn Mannix fired an impressive round of 73 on Sunday to improve to fourth overall.
Boston College overcame a two stroke deficit to rebounds and capture the team crown with an overall score of 629, edging second place Lehigh by four shots. Siena's team score of 326 on the final round was sixth best for the day and improved the Saints' to finish ninth overall in the sixteen team field.
Entering the final round 17th overall, Mannix's round of 73 was second best on the day and leapfrogged her over 13 other golfers in the standings. Lehigh's Livia Amado led wire to wire with rounds of 74 and 73 to capture the individual crown.
Catherine Shomo (84-79-163) and captain Bridget Carr (83-83-166) had equally complimentary rounds in propelling the Green and Gold to its strong final showing.
The Saints conclude the fall season in two weeks when they compete in the Kelly Gutshall Invitational hosted by Lehigh in Bethlehem, Pa.
