Final Stats
Buragndy McCurty had a match-high 16-kills to lead Siena to a 3-0 road win in Baltimore Saturday afternoon. It was the fifth straight win for Siena which improved to 4-1 in conference play this season.
The Saints won the first set 25-23, the second 25-13 and the third 25-17. It was the most decisive win over the five-match streak for the suddenly surging Saints.
In addition to McCurty, the Saints received solid contributions from senior captain Kelly Hummel, who ended with nine kills and a .333 hitting percentage. Junior Kau'i Robello had five kills and a team-high 14 digs.
Setter April London played a solid match, finishing with 29 assists, three aces and nine digs. Libero Kathi Kobayashi anchored the defense with 10 digs and added two aces.
McCurty has been playing the best volleyball in the league this season, and Saturday's effort added to her recent streak of dominance. She killed 16 of her 25 attacks (.520) and collected eight digs.
The Saints conclude their southern trip at Rider Sunday at 2 p.m.
