LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Burgandy McCurty and Kau'i Robello posted double-doubles and Siena was crisp on offense in a 3-1 MAAC win over Loyola Sunday. Kelly Hummel added 12 kills and April London had 49 assists and three aces.
Siena played some of its better volleyball of the season early on, winning the first two sets 25-21 and 25-15. The Greyhounds took the third set 25-22, but the Saints dominated the fourth 25-9.
Robello led all players with a season-high 22 digs; McCurty added 15.
Christina Greenup had 16 kills and 17 digs to lead Loyola.
Siena held a huge edge in kills 57-43 and blocks 11-0.
The Saints have won five straight matches and 14 of their last 17 to move into a first place tie with Fairfield with a 12-2 league record.
The match marked the end of a six-match homestand for Siena which is at Saint Peter's and Fairfield next weekend.
