Siena Stands 13th at Hoya Invitational

First Day Results Get Acrobat Reader

The Siena women's golf team stands 13th overall following the first two rounds of play completed Monday afternoon at the Hoya Invitational hosted by Georgetown University at The Members Club at Four Streams in Beallsville, Md. Sophomores Katelynn Mannix and Catherine Shomo lead the Siena contingent.

Nova Southeastern, the #1 ranked team at the Division II level, leads the 15-team field through 36 holes of competition. The Sharks hold a comfortable 21-stroke lead over second place Princeton. Nova's Maria Garcia Austt leads all individuals with an even par score of 144 through two rounds.

Mannix ranks tied for 47th overall through the first day with a two-round score of 172. Shomo is tied for 53rd overall, albeit just one stroke back of her teammate at 173.

Final round action begins Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m.
