Sophomore sensation Katelynn Mannix leads the field through the first 18 holes of the 2009 MAAC Women's Golf Championships pacing the Saints to the clubhouse lead as well. The sophomore shot a round of 80 to lead her nearest competitor by two strokes.

Siena, which has won a record eight consecutive MAAC Championships, shot a first day score of 344 to lead second place Fairfield by two strokes with 36 holes remaining.

Mannix leads the Stags' Christina Destefano who shot an 82 on Friday. Siena sophomore Catherine Shomo (85) is third overall and senior captain Bridget Carr (87) stands fourth.

The middle round of the championships resumes tomorrow morning with 18 more holes in Celebration, Fla.
