Saints Finish Seventh at Dartmouth Women's Invitational

Senior captain Bridget Carr posted the first regular season top-10 individual finish of her career, leading the Siena women's golf team to seventh place at the Dartmouth Women's Invitational Sunday in Hanover, N.H. Carr's +2 score of 74 put her seventh overall for the weekend.

Towson (625) captured the invitational, fending off second place Boston College which finished just two strokes off the lead in the 20-team field. The Eagles Eunice Yim (75-74-149) took home the individual crown, finishing at +5 for the 36-hole invitational.

Carr's second round score of 74 highlighted the afternoon. Not only did her score tie her with several others for the lowest of the day, but for the lowest single round of the tournament as well.

Freshman Megan Cahill (78-86-164) was second amongst the Siena contingent, one stroke better than junior captains Catherine Shomo and Katelynn Mannix.

The Saints are off for the next two weekends before returning to action for the Rutgers Invitational in Piscataway, N.J. Oct. 9-10.
