Final Stats

The Lady Jaspers rolled to a 15-7 win in the final set after splitting the first four with Siena to claim a 3-2 (23-25, 25-14, 25-21, 21-25 and 15-7) MAAC volleyball win over the Saints in Riverdale Sunday. Freshman Taylor Akana led all players with 23 kills for Siena.

Manhattan evened its MAAC record at 7-7 (14-13 overall), while Siena fell to 5-9 in the league (6-18 overall).

Akana finished with 23 kills and 18 digs to lead Siena. Aubrey Bobo added 17 kills and Brittany Lintelman had 12. Lesli Akeo posted a match-high 22 digs in defeat.

Jaci Rahy topped Manhattan's roster with 18 kills. Diane Strutner recorded a double-double with 16 kills and 20 digs.

Both teams registered 64 kills, but Manhattan took advantage of 30 Siena attack errors and owned a 14-6 advantage in blocks.

The Saints have four league contests remaining, beginning next weekend at Niagara and Canisius.
