Women's Golf Places Second at Dartmouth Invitational

Siena women's golf finished second overall at the Dartmouth Invitational on Cape Cod in Falmouth, Mass. Junior co-captain Catherine Shomo finished tied for third overall.

Harvard ran away with the event, winning by 38 strokes. Siena was tops once again amongst MAAC competitors, finishing well ahead of Boston University.

After shooting a 79 on the first day, Shomo shot an even score of 71 Sunday propelling her to a strong finish. Fellow captains Katelynn Mannix (8th) and Bridget Carr (9th) also posted top-10 finishes.

The Saints return to action Saturday for the Roar-ee Invitational hosted by Columbia in Suffern, N.Y.
