Final Championship Results 
Siena women's golf began a new decade of dominance Sunday, capturing the program's 10th consecutive conference title at the 2010 MAAC Championships in Celebration, Fla. The Saints led throughout the 54-hole competition and won convincingly by 15 strokes.
Siena had won the past nine MAAC Championships, although it was only a two-team league with the Saints and Fairfield. Prior to this year the MAAC added four new members - Niagara and associate members UAlbany, Hartford and Boston University. But despite the expanded and more challenging field, the result was the same as the Saints once again rose to the top.
For his efforts this past season, head coach Dave Wronowski was named MAAC Coach of the Year joining his father, Siena men's coach Tom Wronowski, who also captured Coach of the Year honors on the men's side.
The Saints shot a three-round score of 953, placing 15 strokes ahead of the Stags (968), with Hartford (985) a distant third. The Hawks Sarah Sideranko captured the individual championship with a total score of 226.
Siena placed four players in the top-10, led by junior tri-captain Catherine Shomo. She shot rounds of 80, 73 and 79 in finishing second overall. Fellow captain Bridget Carr, who held the individual lead through the first two rounds, placed third overall.
Rounding out the Saints in the top-10 were Cortney Tilley (7th) and Katelynn Mannix (10). Tilley paced the Saints with a team-low round of 78 on Sunday.
The Saints now return home to the Capital Region with some added hardware for their new, state-of-the-art facility. The Raymond Center and Harry Mikhitarian Golf Training Facility which the men's and women's teams have called home since last fall, will be dedicated Tuesday at 5 p.m.
