Siena women's golf rebounded from a tough start at the Homewood Suites Siena Invitational, rallying to finish fourth on Saturday in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Three Saints fired sub-80 rounds on the final day of competition, with freshman Kylie Strijek leading the Saints with a seventh-place finish.

Strijek posted a round of 79, one day after firing a 78 in the first round. Her two-day total of 157 was twelve shots back of Stetson's Alex Buelow, who won after shooting consecutive rounds of 73 and 72. The Hatters also won the team competition after Buelow, Lauren Cate, and Sammi Smith finished 1-2-3.

Seniors Catherine Shomo and Katelynn Mannix also played well Saturday. Shomo improved eleven shots from round one to round two, posting a team-best score of 78 in the second round. Meanwhile, Mannix struggled on the front nine with a 43, but an even-par 36 on the back preserved a round of 79 and ensured a tie for twelfth.

Megan Cahill and Cortney Tilley shot 80 and 81, respectively, and Siena's team score of 316 Saturday was third-best among the nine participating teams.

The Saints will next be in action on April 4th, when they travel to the UNC-Wilmington Invitational in Wallace, North Carolina.
