LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Brittany Pfaff scored the golden goal in the 92nd minute as Siena Women's Soccer won its second in a row Sunday afternoon, defeating Quinnipiac 1-0 in overtime at Siena Field. Sophomore goalkeeper Taylor Booth added five saves, posting her first career clean sheet.

Freshman Kelly Ristoff set up the winning play from the left of the field. She played a beautiful ball to the right, just over the leaping head of a defender and right to the foot of Pfaff. The junior then sped in from 25 yards out and blasted a shot just inside the far post, sending the Saints (2-4) into celebration.

Although Quinnipiac (4-2-1) out-shot the Saints 13-8 and held a 7-1 edge in corners, it was Siena that had a higher quality of opportunities capped by Pfaff's golden touch. The win marks the Saints' fourth in as many years over the Bobcats.

Jillian Kelley made three saves for Quinnipiac which dropped its second straight after beginning the season 4-0-1.

The win continues a strong for the Saints both at home and in overtime. Over the past seven years, Siena is now 7-1-6 at home in overtime and since 2007 has posted an overall home record of 35-6-4.

With two key victories this weekend to get the Saints into the win column for the season, the Green and Gold will look to build upon the momentum next week. Siena will be tested with three games in four days next week, starting with a 3:30 p.m. kickoff Wednesday at Vermont.
