Women's Golf Finishes Fourth at Dartmouth Invitational

Siena junior Victoria Nguyen (+11) lead the Saints at the Dartmouth Invitational over the weekend finishing in the 15th position for the two day Tournament.

The Saints (+52) finished in fourth place, tied with Brown University, scoring a 322 and 306 for the two-day Tournament. Junior Mary Fletcher (+12) and sophomore Valerie Wijaya (+12) joined Nguyen as top-20 finishers for the Saints. Freshman Kristen Bromley had a strong showing for the Saints shooting a +17 for the Tournament and finish in the 29th position.

The Saints shot a 306 in the second round, improving on the day one score by 16 strokes. Once again finishing as the top MAAC finisher ahead of Quinnipiac (+58), Hartford (+72) and UAlbany (+81).

The team looks to continue to build momentum two weeks when they travel to Egg Harbor Township, N.J. for the ECAC Championships on September 29-30.
