Final Course Statistics
Tournament play was suspended after 36 holes as rain hindered play in the second round. The Saints finished tied for 12th in the Pinehurst Challenge with a team score of 644. Kylie Strijek was the top Saints finisher (T23) with a final score of 156 (78, 78).
Valerie Wijaya improved on her first round score by shooting 10 strokes lower in round two, finishing with a 75 for a total 160, four strokes behind Strijek. Katie Nelson improved her score by seven strokes in the second round, finishing with an 81 for a 169 final in the Tournament.
Rounding out the scoring were Victoria Nguyen, shooting an 82 and 84 in the first and second rounds, respectively to finish inside the top-65 and Mary Fletcher, scoring an 81 and 87 for a 168 in the Tournament.
Laura Fuenfstueck of College of Charleston and Maya Parsons of Jacksonville State tied with a 141 as individual medalist and the College of Charleston took home the team victory, shooting a 583.
The women's golf team travels to Bowling Green, Ky. for the Western Kentucky Lady Topper Classic on March 31-April 1.
