Kristen Bromley and the Siena Saints both sit atop the leaderboard after day one of the ECAC Division 1 Women's Championship at Robert Trent Jones Course in Middlefield, Conn. Four of five Saints are in the top seven.

Bromley paced the field for the day with one birdie and a championship-leading 11 pars, to give herself a two-stroke lead. Victoria Nguyen who is currently tied for second place led all golfers with three birdies on the day. Four of the five Saints are within five strokes of each other as Katie Nelson and Mary Fletcher finished the day sixth and seventh, respectively.

The Saints have a seven-stroke lead on MAAC foe Fairfield as they look to win the ECAC Championship for a second consecutive year. Hartford and Holy Cross round out the field in third and fourth.

Siena will get an early start in their bid to repeat, with tee times scheduled to begin at 8:30 am.
