Sept. 30, 2014 Final Results
Siena Women's Golf placed second in the ECAC Championship after leading through the first day of play. Sophomore Kristen Bromley and Senior Katie Nelson made the All-Tournament Team after finishing second and fourth individually.
Fairfield edged the Saints by four strokes to claim the ECAC crown. Mary Fletcher finished tied for sixth, rounding out Siena's top three. Olivia Brooks from Fairfield University took home the individual title, beating Bromley by only one stroke.
Bromley paced the Saints in her ECAC Championship debut. Nelson's fourth place finish was ten spots higher than her 14th place finish last year, while Fletcher finished three spots higher than she did last year.
Although the finish may not be what the Saints as a team were looking for, they continue to stay focused on the road ahead.
"We have a quick turnaround and need to get focused for St John's this weekend," said head coach Dave Wronowski, "Kristen played very well both days and it just came down to a couple more putts dropping."
The Saints will look to regain their first round momentum, next Monday as the travel to compete in the St. John's Invitational.
