Ten things to know for Thursday's game versus Florida Atlantic:
  • Coming off back-to-back victories for the first time this season, Siena women's basketball will look to make it three straight against Florida Atlantic at the Times-Union Center Saturday afternoon
  • This is the only regular season contest that the Saints will play at the 7,146-seat Times-Union Center, with the team holding a 45-41 all-time mark at the venue and a 19-21 record since it was renamed in 2006.
  • Siena returned home after a three-game road trip Thursday evening, overcoming a double-digit deficit for the second time this season to defeat Colgate, 55-53, for its third straight win over the Raiders.
  • Junior Sabrina Piper recorded a career performance in the win, dropping 30 points while going 10-15 from the field, 4-6 from three-point range and 6-9 from the free throw line, all personal bests. Piper is the first Saint since Kollyns Scarborough last season to have a 30-point game and connect on 10 or more buckets.
  • Piper joined Sims (15 points) in recording double-digit performances, marking the fourth time each had done so this season.
  • Piper accounted for 54.5 % of the team's scoring in the contest, believed to be the second-high single output percentage in program history, with Scarborough scoring 56 % of the Saints' points on 1/13/2018. Piper and Sims combined for 45 total points, good for 81.8 % of the team's output, a new program mark for a scoring effort by two players in a game by percentage.
  • Adding a pair of assists to her total on Thursday, senior Deja Rawls sits in 22nd in program history in the category (264). Rawls needs one more help to tie Janice Nowak (1982-85, 257) for 21st.
  • Siena will face Florida Atlantic for the first time in program history, marking the only first-time opponent on its schedule this season.
  • The Owls are coached by former Siena head coach Jim Jabir, who lead the Saints from 1987-90, compiling a 50-29 overall record during that time.
  • FAU is the only team from Conference USA that Siena will play this season. The Saints are 0-1 against C-USA opponents all-time, falling to then-member Tulane in the 1999-00 season opener.
