Siena Women's Golf junior Sara Riso stands tied for fifth overall and is just three shots off the pace after carding an Opening Round score of 74 at Morehead State's Citrus Challenge at RedTail Golf Club in Sorrento, Florida. The Saints are eighth overall out of 14 teams following the first 18 holes of action.

Florida Gulf Coast holds the clubhouse lead by five strokes over Keiser University following a First Round team score of 297. Siena shot 313, and is just two strokes back of a pair of teams who are tied for fourth place in a tight grouping.

FGCU's Natalia Nassar and Keiser's Michaela Fabiankova share the individual lead after shooting -1 rounds of 71. However, Riso leads the field with six birdies following her strong First Round performance. Junior Ashley Nguyen and freshman Abigail Chai-Onn also stand in the Top-20 overall after each carded rounds of 78.
