Siena Women's Golf finished in 10th place at the abbreviated MSU Citrus Classic held at RedTail Golf Club in Sorrento, Florida. After Monday's scheduled Second Round was suspended following three separate weather delays, action concluded Tuesday with 36 of the 54 holes completed.
Florida Gulf Coast led throughout to capture the team championship with a two-round score of 597. Meanwhile, Keiser University's Michaela Fabiankova was the lone golfer under par for the event as she won the individual title with rounds of 71 and 72.
Siena shot rounds of 313 and 335, respectively, in the 14-team event. Junior Sara Riso led the way, carding a 74 and 75, respectively, to finish tied for sixth with two others. Freshman Abigail Chai-Onn added rounds of 78 and 81 to round out the Saints' leaders.
Siena returns to action for Fairleigh Dickinson's Checkmate Challenge March 31-April 1 at the Seaview Golf Resort in Galloway, New Jersey.
