Fifth-seeded Wagner defeated No. 7 seed Siena Women's Golf 3.5-1.5 in the seventh place match at the FDU Checkmate Challenge at Seaview Golf Resort in Galloway, New Jersey. Sara Riso won her match, while Abigail Chai-Onn halved her matchup for the Saints.

Riso defeated Pacalle Tego 1up at the top pairing, while Chai-Onn halved Elise Keane at the No. 2 matchup. Ashley Nguyen, Marisa Fiorina, and newcomer Emma Rupert all fell in their competitions by scores of 2up, 1up, and 1 up, respectively.

Siena returns to the course for its final tune-up before the MAAC Championships when the Saints compete in the Sacred Heart Spring Invite Apr. 8-9 at the Great River Golf Club in Milford, Connecticut.
