Siena Women's Golf will head into the MAAC Championships in 11 days looking to build off one of its strongest performances of the season. Sara Riso's runner-up effort propelled the Saints to a fourth place finish at the Sacred Heart Spring Invite at Great River Golf Club in Milford, Connecticut.

St. John's led following each round of the 36-hole event to claim the team championship by 20 strokes over host Sacred Heart. Hartford finished third, followed by Siena in fourth in the eight-team tournament.

The Red Storm's Andrea Sanchez edged out Riso to capture the individual title by a slim three-stroke margin. Both Sanchez and Riso paced the field with Final Round scores of 73.

Riso fired a 152 overall for 36 holes to finish at +8 for the tournament. Abigail Chai-Onn also carded a top-10 finish for the Saints in placing tied for eighth with rounds of 81 and 82.

Siena will look to carry over its momentum into the MAAC Championships which commence on Friday, Apr. 20 at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
