Following both team and individual record setting performances Saturday, Siena Women's Golf and
Sara Riso finished the Dartmouth Invitational strong Sunday. The Saints placed fifth at the 15-team event, while Riso tied for third overall individually.
After shooting the first sub-300 score in program history with 298 Saturday, Siena carded a solid 307 Sunday to edge fellow MAAC foe Quinnipiac by one-stroke in the 36-hole event. UAlbany won the team title by six shots over Harvard.
Riso, who broke her own program record Saturday which she initially set on the same course last season, shot 75 Sunday. The senior finished at -3 for the weekend (66-75), just four strokes in back of individual champion Ami Ginachandanl of Yale who carded a 66 in the Final Round.
Grace Cuttone (75-78) and
Ashley Nguyen (78-77) also wrapped up solid weekends for the Saints.
Siena returns to the course Sept. 24-25 for the Boston College Intercollegiate in Canton, Massachusetts.
