Carrie Krohn netted the equalizer in the 81
st minute just 69 seconds after Siena Women's Soccer had fallen behind late as the Saints picked up an important point with a 1-1 draw at Manhattan.

The teams combined for 38 shots and 16 corners in a match rife with chances, although the contest remained scoreless until the 80
th minute. Off a corner kick in which Olivia Maldonado's initial shot was saved, Arianna Montefusco put in the rebound for her seventh goal of the year to give Manhattan (3-10-1, 2-4-1) the late advantage.
But Siena (4-8-4, 2-3-2) would respond in the clutch just over a minute later on a corner of their own. The service was pinballed around in the box before finding the foot of
Deanna Lomino whose shot attempt was blocked out to the right. The deflection came to Krohn who blasted home the tying score through traffic for her third goal of the year.
The Jaspers held a 22-16 advantage in shots, while the Saints attempted a season-high nine corners in harboring a 9-7 margin.
Amber Alfonzo led the way with a career-high six shots, while both she and Krohn each put three attempts apiece on target.
Camryn Nici took over at halftime and made six saves for Manhattan.
With the vital tie, Siena takes over sole possession of sixth place in the MAAC Standings with three matches remaining. The top-six teams qualify for the MAAC Tournament.
Now in control of its own postseason destiny, the Saints return to action Wednesday for another pivotal road matchup at Niagara at 3 p.m.
