BETHLEHEM, PA – Siena Women's Golf began its final tournament of the Fall 2019 season by shooting +37, 325 in the first round of the Lehigh Invitational Monday at the Saucon Valley Country Club.
The Saints sit 11 strokes behind tournament leader Fairleigh Dickinson (+24, 312) entering the final round of the 36-hole affair, with MAAC schools Quinnipiac (third), Monmouth (sixth) and Fairfield (eighth) also participating.
Senior Abigail Chai-Onn and junior Grace Cuttone led the Green and Golf in their fifth fall tournament of the season, with each shooting +6, 78 to land in a tie for eighth.
Freshman Kaity Rittner and sophomore Lena Kaufman followed behind, shooting 84 and 85, respectively to conclude the day in splits for 25th and 29th. Freshman Isabella Diaz rounded out the team's five-women competition squad, shooting 93 to land in a tie for 44th.
Siena will look for a strong finish to the Fall 2019 season on Tuesday, Oct. 22 in a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m.
