Ten things you need to know in Siena's game vs. Colgate:
  • The Saints broke a six-game losing skid dating back to the end of last season, with their last win coming in an overtime thriller at MAAC rival Canisius on Feb. 22, 2019 prior to their win over Sacred Heart on Saturday Nov. 16.
  • Sophomore Amari Anthony is coming off a career game, as she set a career-high in points with 16 against Florida Atlantic.
  • Siena faces Colgate for the 22nd time in program history, as the Saints hold an 18-3 overall advantage over the Raiders since they first met in the 1981-82 season.
  • Senior Sabrina Piper had her top career scoring performance against the Raiders in the ARC last season on Nov. 29, 2018, as she would score 30 points on 10-for-15 shooting from the floor, including 4-for-6 from distance. The Green and Gold edged Colgate 55-53, as Piper's 30 points would account for 55% of Siena scoring that day.
  • The Saints have won the previous three matchups against the Raiders, winning all three by a small combined score of 13 points.
  • Colgate's last win over Siena came on Dec. 28, 2015 in Hamilton as Colgate pulled out the 52-50 win.
  • Overall in program history, the Saints are 54-55 all-time against current members of the Patriot League. Both American and Lehigh are winless agianst the Saints, while Lafayette is the only program in the conference Siena has never faced.
  • Furthermore, the only team Siena has not beaten is Bucknell, who they currently sit 0-2 against all-time. Siena has the most matchups against Loyola (Md.), going 28-24 all-time as they were previous members of the MAAC.
  • Three members of the Green and Gold scored in double figures during the team's 68-57 win versus Sacred Heart. Senior Sabrina Piper led the way with a season-high 24 points. The team's lone senior has now led it in scoring in four of the team's first five games of the season.
  • Siena will play only three home non-conference games in a nine game slate before MAAC play. The Green and Gold faced Binghamton (Nov. 5) and Sacred Heart (Nov. 16), with UAlbany (Dec. 7) coming in the ARC in just a few days.
