Continuing their first 54-hole affair of the Spring 2019 season, Siena Women's Golf shot +28, 216 in round two of the MSU Citrus Classic at the Red Tail Golf Club in Sorrento Florida Monday. Through 36 holes, the Saints sit in eighth place as a team at +52, 628, dropping back one spot from the opening round.

Holding the team's best individual performance of the day, sophomore Abigail Chai-Onn put in a pair of birdies to shoot +5, 77 on round two at the par-72, 5929-yard course, propelling into a three-way tie for 18th place. Classmate Grace Cuttone finished as one of the two golfers to have the same score as Chai-Onn, shooting +6, 78 on the day to put the pair at +10, 154 on the week. After beginning the day inside the top-10 individually, senior Sara Riso (+11, 155) shot +9, 81 on the day, moving back into a six-way split for 21st place. Fellow captain Ashley Nguyen (+21, 165) moved up six spots into a knot for 45th after carding +8, 80 on the day, while freshman Lena Kaufman (+25, 169) went +12, 84 on the day.

Siena wraps up play at the Morehead State-hosted tournament with a single-hole tee-time start on Tuesday morning beginning at 8:30 AM.
