TROY, NY - Playing in their second match in two days, the Siena Saints faced off against the Monmouth Hawks in MAAC action. Much like their previous match, the Green and Gold fell to the Hawks by a final of 7-0.
In singles, the Saints were all defeated in straight sets except for sophomore
Guillermo Torres, who lost in three sets. Torres would drop a tiebreaker in the first 7-6 (2), before winning the second set 7-5. However, Torres dropped the third set 10-6 to fall on court 3. In doubles, all three pairing struggled, unable to grab a point as each one fell 6-3, 6-1, and 6-3.
Siena returns to the court on Saturday, April 13 when they head to the Bronx to take on Fordham. Opening serve is set for 3:30 p.m.
