BLOOMFIELD, CT – Siena Women's Golf concluded its fourth straight weekend of action Sunday, placing sixth at the Hartford Hawks Invitational at the Wintonberry Hills Golf Course in Bloomfield, CT.
The Saints shot 317 in round two of the 36-hole affair to finish +70, 630, placing them behind MAAC rival and host Hartford (Third, 615) and Monmouth (fourth, 616) and ahead of conference counterpart Fairfield (Ninth, 653). Farleigh Dickinson ran away with the team lead, shooting +25, 585 to win by 20 strokes.
Holding onto success from day one, junior Abigail Chai-Onn shot +10, 80 in round two to place 15th individual with 154. Classmate Grace Cuttone carded a 78 Sunday to finish in a tie for 16th.
Freshman Kaity Rittner proved to be the top performer for the Green and Gold on the day, shooting a team-best 77 to move up into a split for 24th.
Sophomore Lena Kaufman and senior captain Marisa Fiorina shot 81 and 85, respectively, to land in knots for 32nd and 45th.
Competing as an individual, freshman Isabella Diaz improved her score by one stroke, carding +11, 81 to finish with 163 and move into a tie for 37th.
Siena will conclude is Fall 2019 season October 21-22 at the Lehigh Invitational in Bethlehem, PA.
