The Siena Saints women's basketball team heads east into Connecticut to take on the Fairfield Stags on Thursday night. It will be the first of two road games to conclude the Green and Gold's 2019-20 regular season slate before heading to Atlantic City next week for the 2020 Hercules Tires MAAC Men's and Women's Basketball Championships.

Ten things you need to know in Siena's game vs. Fairfield:
- The Saints are 5-16 all-time at Alumni Hall on the campus at Fairfield. First game at the historic arena was a win on Dec. 10, 1988.
- Siena has fallen the last eight matchups at Alumni Hall, with the last win in the building coming back in 2001. The Stags split time between Alumni Hall and WebsterBank Arena after the 2001 season.

Sabrina Piper is currently approaching 1,000 career points, standing at 18 total points until the landmark. The Paris, France native has the chance to be Siena's 29th player on the list. She will be the latest since both
Kollyns Scarbrough and current Director of Basketball Operations
Meghan Donohue each eclipsed the mark in 2016-17. Piper has collected over 40 games of double-digit scoring in her career.
- With her appearance against Fairfield on Jan. 2, Piper also eclipsed the 100 games mark for her career. If she appears in every game the rest of the season for Siena, she will land fifth all-time on the games played list.

Sabrina Piper has only missed one game in her four-year career at Siena, earning a DNP (Coaches' discretion) at UAlbany her freshman season.
- Sophomore Lala Watts has now entered the Top 10 list for blocked shots in a single season. She is currently ranks second all-time with 60 blocks as she passed Serena Moore's 2009-10 total of 51. Leading the top of the list is Laura Lord's 85-86 total of 74 blocks.
- In addition, Watts ranks first in the MAAC in blocked shots, currently averaging 2.2 blocks per game. She is the only play in the MAAC averaging over two blocks per game, as Saint Peter's Zoe Pero ranks second with a 1.6 blocks per game average. Watts' 60 blocked shots rank 26th in the NCAA, while her 2.2 blocks per game also ranks 28th in the country.

Margo Peterson scored a team-high 25 points in a win over Saint Peter's back in Feb. 22. The scoring performance was the highest points total of any Saint this season, topping
Sabrina Piper's 24 points which she did twice (11/16 vs. Sacred Heart, 1/6 at Saint Peter's)
- Lala Watts has had nine rebounds or more each of the last three games. She is coming off a double-double, putting up career-highs with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
- The Saints played in their second ever "Leap Year" game in program history, now sitting at 2-0 in those games after Saturday's win over Iona. The only other game on a Feb. 29 came on Feb. 29, 2008 in an 84-81 win at Rider.
