LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Volleyball returns to the friendly confines of the UHY Center for the first time this season, as they get set to host a conference single-match against the Niagara Purple Eagles on Wednesday afternoon.

Against the Fairfield Stags on Sunday, senior
Dakota Jackson and freshman
Alexa Withun scored six kills apiece as the Saints fell in the first match of the day. The Saints struggled on the attack, hitting .087 compared to a .420 mark from the Stags. Fairfield was led by a pair of 12-kill efforts from Laura Seeger and Emily Schillinger.
In the second match with the Stags, freshman
Greta Stjade stepped up with six kills apiece, while Withun scored another five. Siena's total errors for the match would accumulate to 21 to only 17 kills. However, Siena did secure five aces in the second match to Fairfield's six. Joelle Battles led the Stags with 11 kills, and Schillinger went for double-digits again finishing with 10 kills.
The Purple Eagles play at Siena following the postponement of their matches against Marist which were originally schedule for March 21. Niagara was last in action on March 18 versus Fairfield. The Stags swept the Purple Eagles, winning match one, 3-1 (25-21, 25-12, 25-21, 25-12), and match two, 3-0 (25-20, 26-24, 25-19).
The Saints' remaining schedule consists of only one home weekend at the UHY Center when they host Marist next Sunday, Mar. 28.
